Lalafell and Miqote under the Sakura bloom

The sketches wee every rough, and the lalafell girl's face started off really scuffed hahaha!

I cleaned up a lot of the proportions and general feel in the lineart stage, but I knew that I was gonna just paintover the background, so I didn't do a tight drawing for it.

The roof tiles are combinations of photos pieced together and painted to look seamless. Repeated patterns are tricky to get right when drawing or painting from scratch. It's not cheating if you work smart! You're saving a lot more time to get an even more accurate and better result.

In the end, since the photo will be blurred, I didnt really need to clean up too much for the background to look complete.
